Tindall, who is the husband of Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, says he’s “very happy to be onboard” with the pharmaceutical company behind the CBD products.
CBD is short for Cannabidiol, a chemical compound extracted from the plant cannabis sativa.
Tindall is now a brand ambassador for Pureis CBD.
He shared the news on Twitter revealing he’s hoping the products will be able to improve his sleep.
Tindall, 42, recently became a father for the third time with the birth of son Lucas. He and Zara have two daughters, Mia, seven, and Lena, two.
“Very happy to be onboard with @pureiscbd,” Tindall wrote on Twitter.
“I take the 560mg oil at night and the 20mg capsules in the morning. It’s a brand I trust, as I know they have spent years making it the 1st CBD food supplement backed by clinical studies. It has no THC and is odourless.”
He also offered his followers on social media a discount code.
“So go be onboard, good sleep, positive times ahead!!!” Tindall said in a re-tweet by the brand announcing his partnership.
The company’s products are free from THC, the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant that delivers the high and addiction.
CBD products are gaining popularity for helping those suffering from chronic pain conditions with some success in treating epilepsy.
In March, the company became the first in the world to receive dual validation from European Food Safety Authority and Food Standards Agency UK.
Tindall is a former English Rugby player and was part of England’s 2003 World Cup-winning team. He captained England in 2011 and retired from the sport in 2014.
He currently hosts the popular podcast The Good, the Bad and the Rugby with James Haskell and Alex Payne.
In March, Tindall announced the birth of his third child via his podcast saying that Zara gave birth at home “on the bathroom floor”.
“A little baby boy arrived at my house” he said.
“So, it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get a mat on the floor, towels down, ‘brace-brace-brace.'”
He later shared more information about the home birth on Good Morning Britain.
“Fortunately, the midwife got there in time so I didn’t have to go down to the area… the downside… the wrong end, I got to stay at the top end and be supportive,” Tindall said.
“It wasn’t what we were expecting, but Zara’s best friend Dolly, who is a maternity nurse, was there and had the situation in control.
“And then the midwife arrived, which made me breathe a sigh of relief that I could just be chatting to Zara and trying to get her through it.”
Their son Lucas Philip is named after Zara’s grandfather, Prince Philip, and Mike’s father Philip Tindall.
