A veterinary rescue tour designed to provide free veterinary care, food and supplies to homeless pets returning to Southern California this week.
The ElleVet project has made half a dozen stops in the area in collaboration with local sponsors to provide services such as vaccines, flea and tick prevention, anthelmintic and testing. In some cases, surgery and other emergency services can be provided in more urgent scenarios.
This project is a non-profit spin-off of Elle Vet Sciences, founded in 2017 by Christian Kjaer and Amanda Howland. The company creates and sells hemp CBD / CBDA products for pets suffering from mobility challenges, but skin has another problem.
The current tour aims to provide help to over 3,000 animals.
More Information The ElleVet project can be found on the project website. https://ellevetproject.org.. Donations help pay for vaccines, medicines, and emergency surgery.
